Thank you for selecting Primrose to sell your clothing/accessories. All new Consignors are required to complete a Consignment Agreement to create an account. Your account will remain open and you are welcome to consign with us on an ongoing basis.

General Terms: 

  • Items must be of good quality, clean, odor/pet free and ready for resale.
  • Primrose has the right to refuse any item for consignment. 
  • All items consigned with Primrose remain the property of the consignor. While all
    reasonable efforts will be made to keep consigned items clean and safe from damage, Primrose is not responsible for loss or damage to consigned articles from fire, water, theft, damages, or other casualty. 
  •  This agreement may be revised at any time by Primrose. This agreement's terms and conditions shall be applied to any items accepted prior to any revision

Pricing & Consignment Period 

  • Pricing is established by Primrose based on the brand, style, condition, age, and market demand for an item. Consideration is given to the original purchase price if known, however, the final item pricing is based on current resale/market value of an item.
  • The consignment period begins when the item is priced and available for sale. This date may be different from the intake/arrival date due to processing time. 
  • Consignment ending period is after 60 days. 
  • Inventory will reduce from the starting price via a preset, progressive markdown
    schedule: 
    • 10% every 20 days. 
  • Sales and promotions are at the discretion of Primrose and items may be reduced up to an additional 10% at any time, in order to keep inventory fresh and moving. 
  • Requests to reclaim and remove item(s) prior to the end of the consignment period are subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the starting price. This is payable upon items being picked up. 
  • Primrose has the exclusive right to sell all accepted items. Consignors may not cross post or conduct simultaneous, price or marketed sale of any item(s) while they are under contract with Primrose.

Commission 

  • Consignors commission is 40% of the actual selling price of each item. The consignor’s payout will be based on the final selling price less fees and taxes.

Unsold/ Not selected Items 

  • You are responsible for pickup of your items. Items are to be picked up within 7 business days of the rejection date or consignment ending date. 
  • If rejected items are not picked up within 7 business days, they will be donated to a local charity. 
  • If unsold items are not picked up within 7 business days, they will be forfeited to
    Primrose and sold at clearance prices or donated outright to a local charity.

Payments 

  • Funds accumulate in the account as “store credit” and will be available 48 hours after an item is sold. Store credit does not expire. 
  • Check Payouts are available upon request. 
  • Checks that are picked up and not cashed within the appropriate time frame will not be reissued. 
  • We do not mail out checks unless otherwise determined and a processing fee will be implemented.

I certify that I am the rightful owner of these items and have the authority to sell them on consignment. Primrose will be held harmless from any disputes if this is violated.
